Accountant
This position is ideal for an accounting professional who wants to build expertise in ERP systems, manufacturing cost structures, financial reporting, and internal controls while contributing to a collaborative team.
Accounts Payable & Operational Accounting
- Process high-volume vendor invoices (raw materials, supplies, and services)
- Perform three-way matching (PO, receiving, invoice)
- Partner with Purchasing and Receiving to resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate vendor master data
- Prepare and execute payment runs (checks, ACH, wires)
- Reconcile vendor statements and manage AP aging
- Support cash flow planning and working capital management
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
- Assist with month-end and year-end close
- Prepare journal entries, including accruals
- Reconcile general ledger accounts
- Support financial reporting and management analysis
- Assist with internal and external audits
- Maintain organized accounting documentation
- Participate in process improvement initiatives
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 2–5 years of accounting experience (manufacturing preferred)
- Strong Accounts Payable experience in a high-volume environment
- ERP system experience required
- Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
